Over the course of the two days, authoritative representatives of the institutions, the banking, consultancy and industry met and discussed to delve deeper and identify the points of attention, the most advanced strategies and technologies in a process of strengthening security and resilience of the entire national and European economic system. Within the current international geopolitical scenario, cyber threats represent a systemic risk for the security of the European financial sector. With respect to this, the opening session "Present and future of cybersecurity: the new challenges for Italy and Europe" which was start the work on May 14th, was an opportunity to reflect on the role that artificial intelligence has and will have in cybersecurity, at a strategic and operational level; crucial themes such as the National Cybersecurity Strategy 2022-2026 was analyzed and an overview was made of the digital transformation supported by the resources of the PNRR and more generally on the regulatory framework of reference, without forgetting the centrality of the culture of security within Organizations and country system level and the contribution that the innovations brought by the galaxy of increasingly active startups, also in Italy, can make to strengthening the system. Finally, the thematic sessions ranged from fraud, with the presentation of the annual CERTFin Report, to the analysis of the new regulatory challenges relating to the financial sector (starting from the DORA Regulation) and investments for user safety, from the duties (and needs ) of supply chain monitoring, to the new scenarios - still little explored - of quantum computing. There was also a focus on physical security which continues to be a source of important investments with the analyzes of Ossif, the ABI Research Center on Anti-Crime Security.
