Biography

Awarded the title of Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2017, he was born in Arienzo (CE) on 15 April 1964. He has undertaken a career of excellence in the security and investigation sector, boasting a multidisciplinary academic education with degrees and masters in law, security sciences, strategic-military studies and political sciences. After attending the prestigious "Nunziatella" Military School and the Military Academy of Modena, he held command roles in various units of the Carabinieri Corps, distinguishing himself for his work in the Special Operations Group (ROS) and in the Anti-Mafia Investigation Directorate (DIA). Over the years he has held high-level positions such as Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri of Foggia, Head of Department at the DIA and Deputy Administrative Director of the same. He currently is the head of the Criminal Analysis Service, a joint force unit, part of the Central Directorate of Criminal Police.
