LAURA QUARONI

Biography

Born in Broni (Pavia) in 1978, she has been with Banca Ifis since 2013 and holds the role of Head of Privacy & Security for the Group. In her position, she oversees Cyber Security, Physical Security, Data Protection, and Business Continuity, ensuring the protection and security of the group's information assets. Her professional journey began after a postgraduate collaboration with the University of Pavia and an internship at Vodafone Italia. In 2004, she joined KPMG, where she specialized in Information System Audit, IT Governance, Security Risk Assessment, and IT compliance within the Information Risk Management group. She holds a degree in Business Economics from the University of Pavia and has earned a first level Master's degree in Organization, Information Technology, and Information Systems. Previously a Board member of the ISACA VENICE Chapter, she is now a member of Women4Cyber Italy for Banca Ifis and a member of the Steering Committee of CERTFin.
