Ph. D. and Master Degree in Electronic Engineering received at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". Master in Policies and Strategies for a European Defense and Security at Higher Study Centre of the Italian Ministry of Defense. Formerly (2010-2013) Director General of the Secretariat for Critical Infrastructure Protection, Presidency of the Council of the Ministers and Italian Point of Contact for the Directive 114/08 CE on European Critical Infrastructure protection at the EU Council, nominated by the Presidency of the Council of the ministers. Formerly (2006-2010) Director General of the reaction team for CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) terrorist attacks at the Presidency of the Council of the Ministers - Civil Protection Department. Formerly (2033-2006) Director General of the High Institute for Communications and Technologies at the Ministry for Communications
