Infocert Research and Development

Mr. Luca Boldrin (male) investigates innovation trends and manages research initiatives for InfoCert – the largest European Trust Service Provider - after a career across different public and private organizations (National Research Council, Telecom Italia, SAS Institute, InfoCamere) in different roles of responsibility. His core competences are on trust services, identity management, distributed ledgers, security (CISM certified). He has been involved as a subject expert in many projects, both at national and international levels, with a specific focus on the implementation of cross border digital solutions; he represents InfoCert in many international fora and events, including EU expert groups, ISO, ETSI. Since 2005 he has been continuously involved in standardization activities on his areas of expertise. Pursuing InfoCert’s objective of contributing to the next generation of Trust Services, Luca is in charge of InfoCert relations with the academy, as well as of innovation activities on self-sovereign identity (Sovrin, Trust over IP, DIF). He received a MSc summa cum laude in Computer Science and a PhD in Mathematics.
