Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center Tel Aviv University  Head of research development

Tel Aviv University’s Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center (ICRC) supports interdisciplinary research on cyber through competitive allocation of research grants. Since 2014, we’ve funded 95 diverse research teams, many of which include partners from world’s leading institutes. Tel Aviv University (TAU) is Israel’s largest and most comprehensive institution of research and higher learning with over 30,000 students studying in nine faculties and over 125 schools and departments across the spectrum of sciences, humanities and the arts. Almost half of the cohort are graduate students. Situated in Israel’s economic and technological capital, TAU shares Tel Aviv’s unshakable spirit of innovation and openness. Blavatnik ICRC hosts the free-to-attend annual Cyber Week: a series of workshops, conferences and networking events. In June 2019, we hosted more than 9,000 attendees from over 60 countries. Over the past nine years, Cyber Week has become a leading international event, attracting senior executives, leading academics, cybersecurity experts, policy makers, entrepreneurs, investors, defense officials, youth and public.
